Infected players/NPCs will keep their original models if enabled (due to skeletal differences between Halo 3 and Half-Life 2, this can look a bit weird at times).
Infected players/NPCs will play unique animations when killed by infection forms.
Flood Pure forms can transform into other forms.
Flood Infection that assimilates live creatures will use the creature's weapon if it has one.
When Flood Combat forms lose their left arm, they run away.
Flood Carrier Forms can explode, leaving Flood Infection Forms behind.

Flood Combat Forms all evolve into new flood forms over time.

You will eventually become a Flood Combat Form and the cycle will continue forever. You'll know if you or anything else is infected as cancerous lumps will appear on your body. Whenever a Flood Infection assimilates a dead body, it will create a Flood Combat Form that slowly grows "Flood Muffins." These Flood Muffins will randomly spew Flood Spores into the air, which will randomly infect corpses, players, and NPCs over time. If the bodies are close enough, the infection form will stop chasing their enemy and infect the body. To infect Half-Life 2 character corpses, you need to make sure "Keep Corpses" is checked in your context menu. Infection forms are capable of infecting VJ Base dead bodies(there's no way to make them decide if the corpse would make sense to infect). They can also infect dead bodies at the point as well. If they are alive, the infection form will leap at them and infect them if their health is low enough. Infection forms are capable of infecting live and dead (S)NPCs.
